Anything but a card @ Loves Rubberstamps

Happy Tuesday everyone! Hope you are enjoying the beginning of the week. It is time for a new challenge at Loves Rubberstamp and we want you to get creative because the theme this week is Anything but a card. How about that?  I can't wait to see what you are going to create.  The sponsor for this challenge is no other than the fabulous Saturated Canary and they gave each of the DTs the opportunity to select one of their gorgeous images to play with. Yay!!  As you can imagine, with my daughter's graduation coming up this Friday, I have been very busy these past weeks, busy, but so excited and joyful, so somehow I made some time to create this tea bag dispenser using the cute  Muriel.  I've been planning to make this project since I saw the tea bag dispensers in Norma's blog.  I hope you enjoy my project and get inspired to play along with us this week.

For this week, I have a very special card and a lot of reasons to celebrate. First, I am officially starting the countdown to my daughter's graduation. In five days she will be a high school graduate.  OMG!! I still remember the first day I took her to school, to me she is still my little baby, but I have to accept, she has become a young lady and this past year, she has accomplished so much...I don't have words to describe how proud I am of  her. Second, as in every important moment in my life Kathya and her family are coming to Puerto Rico to attend Monica's graduation. I am so grateful to have them in my life. Again, I don't have words to thank them for being with me in this joyful moment.  And last, but not least, this past week, we celebrated my father's 84th birthday. What a blessing to be able to celebrate his life, because he is a very special father, grandfather and great-grandfather. And today, I am sharing with you the card I made for him.  Hope you like it as much as he did.

Anything Goes @ Fussy and Fancy

Hi everyone! It is Friday! Can you believe it is already May?  It feels like time is flying! And talking about time, it is time for a new challenge at Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge.

Our hostess for this fortnight is the lovely May and the theme is everyone's favorite, Anything Goes. This one is pretty easy, so don't wait a minute and join the fun. For this challenge, I created a box I've been wanting to create a long time ago.  I used the gorgeous Saturated Canary Turtle image and some yummy Maja Designs papers from their Vintage Spring Basics collection, I absolutely love them.  And now, my dear friends, take a look at my project.
