How time flies

It seems it was just yesterday that I was giving birth to my youngest son.   And last Sunday he turned fourteen.  To honor his birthday I made this card. He was so happy because now, as he said: “I have a card made by Mami.”  My first post on this blog was a birthday card for my oldest son. Now they are both happy.

Wish Upon a Star...

That 2012 will be a fantastic year for all of us; full of positive moments, days, and memories. That we can live this year in a continual state of gratefulness, even when we don’t see at the moment a reason to, but understand it later.

A new year is full of possibilities. Whatever is calling you, from your heart, for your growth as a human being… open yourself to it! Sometimes, all it takes is just one little step at a time and before you know it, it will be a reality!

Hello, everyone...

This post does not have a project, but I wanted to share this with you. I hope your 2012 is starting off in a good way.  I went to Puerto Rico to visit Ivonne.  It was all I asked for, to spend Christmas in Puerto Rico together with my loving husband and youngest son. We spent the first part of the day with our oldest adult son (who stayed to house sit and feed the cat, er…queen) and flew to Puerto Rico in time to have dinner with Ivonne and her daughter. This was the first time I spent the holidays in my beautiful island since I left in 1998.

My husband, son and me

Ivonne, her daughter and myself

Us and our best friend ever, Edgardo!
To be with Ivonne and her beautiful daughter and my boys until New Years was incredible! There were moments when I thought my heart will burst with joy! Seeing her parents again was amazing. They have not changed a bit! And they always make me feel so welcomed and loved.  Not just me, but also my boys. I will cherish this holiday vacations forever in my heart!

A little something for you

Hi everyone! It's Friday!!  What a week...I have been so busy at work I haven't had time to finish this post.  I want to share with you a money holder I made for my niece's son.  It was a last minute idea and I didn't have too much time to make something fancy, but I wanted to give him something hand made.  It was a Three King's Day gift and I wanted to be special.  So I searched the Internet and found this US Money Holder template. And here it is, clean and simple.
