For a very special person

This card has no stamp but a lot of heart! I made this one especially for my husband in appreciation for his support in all I do. He is always asking: “So, when are you going to Skype with Ivonne?” Of course, there is an advantage for him on this. He goes and watches a “James Bond” movie, which he has the whole collection while Ivonne and I talk for hours. [Insert smile!]

On the other hand, there have been times when I’ve needed something to finish a project and haven't been able to leave the office on timeHe has asked what do I need from the craft store and he goes and gets it for me. He will even print the discount coupon because he knows that’s how I shop. [Insert grin!]
For all of these reasons and many more, this card is dedicated to my hubby, Michael. Thank you for supporting my passion and always being there for me!

Christmas is just around the corner

Happy Sunday everyone! I hope you are all enjoying the weekend.  Have you realized Christmas is just around the corner?  Yes, my friends, it is almost here...Christmas, my favorite season.  I love celebrating with friends and family, there is nothing like it.  And for today, I have a Christmas card.  I wanted to do something different, so I created a Center Step Card.  I used one of the first stamps I colored about a year ago, it is Unwrapped Tilda and it is one of my favorites Tilda images.  I colored it with Copics.  The papers are from the My Mind's Eye, The merry days of Christmas pad.  The flowers, twine and snowflakes are from my stash.  And here it is:

Recipe of Love

Happy Sunday everyone! I hope you are all having a great weekend!  I have been out of the blog-universe for a while.  First I was on vacation, then my creativity was on vacation and lastly my Internet was on vacation! OMG, that's a lot of vacations!  I was finally able to sit down and create a card, and it feels so good to be back doing what you like so much.

Today's card was created using Tilda with lovely jam Magnolia stamp, I colored it with Copic Markers.  The design papers are from Heidi Grace - Daydream collection.  The buttons, ribbon and charm are from my stash.  The blue panel in the middle of the card was created using Tracy MacDonald's Basket weave panel tutorial, she is amazingly talented.

And here it is, front view:
