Happy Birthday, Hun!

Hi everyone! The weather is very beautiful here today so I want to take a moment to share the card I made for my husband's birthday. I used a fun digital image from Meljen's Design that I colored with my copic markers.

Inside the card, I folded a piece of cream cardstock and positioned the fold of the paper below the top cutting edge of the die cut so as to leave part of the fold uncut. That way it opens up like a page. I cut another piece of cream cardstock (with the same size die cut) and printed the sentiment on that one. Afterwards, I glued it over the previous folded double page making it possible for me to write my own loving words to him hidden right under the sentiment. He was surprised when he thought I forgot to sign it and I told him: "Look under it", he he! I hope you like it. Have a nice week!

Ribbons and Lace - FFFC #134

Good morning my friends and happy Friday! Are you ready for the weekend? I know I am, I have been so busy lately that I am always ready for a break. And besides the weekend, are you ready for a new challenge? Yes, my friends, it is time for a new challenge at Fussy and Fancy, our theme for this fortnight is Ribbons and Lace. What can be more fabulous than that? The challenge is hosted by the lovely Judy and sponsored by no other than The Ribbon Girl. Have you seen all their gorgeous products, if you haven't, you have to check them out.

For this challenge, I created an exploding box. I've been planning to do one for a while and I thought it was perfect for our Ribbons and Lace theme.  I didn't use an image this time, just a fabulous paper pad, flowers, ribbon and lace. I hope you enjoy it. I have to warn you, I included a lot of pictures so you can appreciate all the box's details.

My project ingredients are:
